This video discusses compelling music therapy Creative Forces research published to date that include a scoping review, small case series, analyses of secondary data, innovative music therapy protocols, and a preliminary multi-site study replicating clinical programming.

This video discusses findings from our published research, including case reports, correlational analyses of secondary data, and program evaluation studies.

Over the next five years, Creative Forces®: National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Military Healing Arts Network intends to provide $2.5 million in new research funding to support feasibility/pilot studies and subsequent randomized-controlled trials (RCTs) or other large-scale studies to address priority research questions identified by Creative Forces in art therapy and music therapy.

This is a one-time, phased award opportunity for feasibility/pilot studies leading to potential RCTs or other large-scale studies. It is not part of an ongoing award cycle. 

This subaward is intended to advance systematic music therapy research for military populations.
