Feast of Crispian-South

Tennessee Shakespeare Company (TSC), in partnership with VA Memphis Healthcare System, will present The Feast of Crispian-South. The program will work with underserved, often disabled, military veterans who currently are undergoing in-patient treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, and psycho-social rehabilitation at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center. The program will also include veterans from the greater Memphis area, building community with an evening series of Shakespeare exploration and performances at TSC's space in Memphis. The program will serve a diverse group of veterans with diverse life experiences. Many veterans who will participate are from rural communities throughout Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.

Tennessee Shakespeare Company (TSC) in partnership with Memphis VA Medical Center will present TSC’s Military Veterans Health Program, Feast of Crispian-South, which uses Shakespeare to interactively aid Mid-South area heroes with post-deployment mental health and chemical dependency issues. This year-round residency employs specifically-trained TSC teaching artists who lead multiple-week sessions for three distinct veteran in-patient populations at the Memphis VA Medical Center.
