Veterans Art Project
The West Nebraska Arts Center will provide a year-long series of art instruction classes for veterans, their families, and caregivers. The program will offer instruction in various disciplines, such as drawing, painting, pottery, photography, metalsmithing, and writing. The program aims to help veterans and their families reconnect through creative expression and form bonds with fellow veterans. The program allows participants to express themselves meaningfully, fosters community, and provides a space to explore their creativity. It will also provide support to those who may be struggling with daily life after returning from active duty.
