Operation ART

The Joel Fund will build on a successful pilot program conducted in early 2024 to present Operation ART in partnership with the Durham VA Medical Center Recreational Therapy Department. The program will provide continuous instruction on a monthly basis for hand-building clay workshops for visually impaired veterans. This opportunity will enhance social connectedness and foster creative expression for veterans with visual impairments and strengthen The Joel Fund's outreach through inclusive programming.
