Communications Director, Flannel & Blade

Beth Davenport serves as the Communications Director for Flannel & Blade and is part of the Creative Forces®: National Endowment for the Arts’ Military Healing Arts Network National Resource Center and Capacity Team. Beth is a transmedia specialist and social entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in film and television production, digital strategy, program development, and nonprofit leadership. Beth has raised and managed over $20M in non-profit funding and for-profit impact investment and is experienced in cross-sector partnerships to create policy and social change. She has launched digital platforms, developed advocacy curriculum, and implemented audience engagement campaigns harnessing the power of media to create change. In 2016, Beth co-founded Stockade Works—a nonprofit that trains, mentors, and provides job placements for underserved Hudson Valley, NY residents to work in the film/TV industry. As a founding partner she oversees new business development, budget oversight, account management, and serves as high-level project lead in the areas of organizational strategy and creative direction. Beth has created film/TV workforce development for veterans and has presented workshops at The Veterans in Entertainment Summit which reaches over 200 veterans nationwide.
