Buffalo Soldiers National Museum in partnership with the Jung Center of Houston will present Military-Inspired ART (MIA), a program created in 2018 with the vision of bridging the connection between the arts and the military. In its fourth year, MIA is a multi-month art exhibition and programming schedule intended to leverage the power of the arts to help create stronger community connections and enable our local military service members, veterans, and their families to unleash their inner creativity. The program’s artwork and exhibits reveal the effects of war upon our nation’s heroes, provides veterans with a creative venue for expression, and promotes patriotism in a positive light.
