The University of Kansas Center for Research in partnership with the University of Kansas Graduate Military Programs, the Lt. Gen. William K. Jones Military-Affiliated Student Center, and the Lied Center will collaborate to present Modern Warrior LIVE (MWL), an immersive narrative and music experience that chronicles one veteran’s journey. Prior to the performance the partnership will host Modern Warrior Experience, a program which allows MWL artists to collaborate with local veterans, empowering them to share their story through a unique Modern Warrior format of storytelling. The MWL team of writers and artists work with each veteran to help tell the story they want to share, through their own words. Each veteran will then perform their work for family and friends.
