Sounds of Service
Resounding Joy's Sounds of Service program provides the military-connected community in San Diego with access to music arts engagement. The program aims to improve participants' quality of life and resiliency through various trauma-informed music programs that are enhanced by the expertise of Board-Certified music therapists. Sounds of Service offers art instruction, performance opportunities, and individualized support to multiple participants, including service members, veterans, families, and caregivers. The program seeks to address various challenges this community faces, including injuries, difficulty transitioning to civilian life, and the challenges of caregiving. Through the power of music, Resounding Joy strengthens community connections, improves well-being, and facilitates the transition to civilian life for military-connected individuals in San Diego, California.
