Gretchen M. Miller, MA, ATR-BC, ACTP is a registered board-certified Art Therapist with the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine and works in the Creative Forces®: NEA Military Healing Arts Network serving the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System. Gretchen provides art therapy telehealth treatment for the Rural Veteran Tele-Rehabilitation Initiative (RVTRI) at the Carl A. Nunziato VA Clinic in Youngstown, OH. She has over 20 years of experience practicing art therapy as an Advanced Certified Trauma Practitioner in Northeast Ohio. Gretchen’s clinical and community-based work has included working with youth, families, and adults impacted by trauma and loss, mental health recovery, and homelessness. She obtained her Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Ursuline College. In addition to her work as a clinician, Gretchen is an international speaker, adjunct art therapy educator, and author. Her professional interests include the application of technology and digital media in art therapy, the therapeutic use of papermaking, trauma-competent care, and community organizing.
