Stories of War
Exit12’s Stories of War series will partner with organizations in New York, South Carolina, and Montana to bring together military veterans, their families, and members of the local community to participate in a six-session creative writing and choreography workshop. Participants will engage in creative expression and teamwork, improve social connectedness, transform traumatic experiences into expressive choreographic themes, and inspire each other to push beyond their comfort zones. Exit12 will work with partners to publicly present the locally-created works in a full-length performance followed by a moderated dialogue with the audience.
